About Lakeside Rooms

Lakeside Rooms was the very first multidisciplinary group private practice for mental health professionals on the Gold Coast, established in 2000; offering services to patients from psychologists and psychiatrists.

Special Event

Lakeside Rooms in collaboration with Miami State School & Bond University is hosting a special Evening with Psychologist Karen Young. Karen is famous for the internationally popular online resource Hey Sigmund and is world renown for her authorship and public speaking on anxiety and the neurodevelopment of children.

Courage and resilience are vital qualities that help children adapt in the face of adversity and challenge, with their hearts, minds and spirits intact. Both courage and resilience are qualities that can be cultivated in any child, and parents are in the perfect position to do this.

Waiting times for an appointment; with an increasing number of individuals in our community accessing mental health services, Lakeside Rooms now has a waiting list for new patients to see one of our practitioners. “This unfortunately means there is a wait of 20+ weeks to receive an appointment and commence with our services.”

If this is too long to wait, please contact your GP for appropriate options and advice.

If appropriate, and you wish to, we will add you to our  waiting list and make contact when appointments become available.  You may also like to visit our resources page for information and other options. Wishing you health and wellness for the year ahead.
