Meet Jessica:
Jessica is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Bond University in 2019. Jessica’s experience in the field of psychology includes working within both public and private organisations, including community-based clinics, an addiction rehabilitation centre, and providing outreach services from a state primary school. Jessica’s experience predominantly lies in childhood disorders, simple and complex trauma, phobias, and addiction with skills across a range of mental health issues, including those related to depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, attachment issues, parenting, interpersonal relationship issues, specific phobias and more.
Predominantly Jessica’s strengths lie in working therapeutically with children and adolescents, however she is passionate about supporting clients across the life-span. Jessica places great emphasis on working within, and appreciating the importance of, each individual clients’ systems, including their family environment and school or work contexts. Aligning with this, Jessica is also passionate about the role of psychological assessment in supporting mental wellness improvements, and offers a wide range of psychological assessments, assisting in diagnostic purposes and informing subsequent psychological behavioural and medical interventions.

Jessica is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families, to support their emotional, behavioural, and psychological growth and development. Her enthusiasm towards working with children and youth, and respect for employing evidence-based theory and practice to assessment and intervention, allows Jessica to optimally support each client and their individual needs. Jessica also works with adults, ultimately engaging with clients across the life-span in an approachable and open manner, with a great emphasis on rapport and mutual respect, at the basis of her client work. Jessica aims to create a safe, warm, space for each client, build a strong therapeutic alliance, and complete intervention or assessment within this context, to assist growth, development, and overall improve wellbeing for each client she engages with.
