Meet Erinn:

Erinn is a clinical psychologist with over fifteen years experience helping children, youth, families and adults cope with difficult emotions, explosive behaviour, relationship problems and traumatic events. Erinn has worked in a number of different settings including community, hospital, and the university. This experience has deepened her interest in applying the science of clinical psychology and child development to the real concerns affecting her clients on a day-to-day basis. When she is not at Lakeside Rooms, Erinn is a Lecturer with the School of Applied Psychology at Griffith University (https://experts.griffith.edu.au/8079-erinn-hawkins/about) where she teaches and supervises provisional psychologists.  She is also involved in a number of research projects, including: examining whether attachment-based therapies work, why they work, and for whom they work best; developing clinically useful assessment tools for measuring attachment security in young children; evaluating the benefits of psychological assessment; and integrating neurodevelopmental assessments into primary health care.  For more information on her published work go to https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Erinn_Hawkins
