Our Robina waiting room is re-opening

We are maintaining a considerable focus on health, safety and wellbeing of clients, others and team members and are pleased to be able to offer the re-opening of our waiting room at our Robina rooms from
Monday 31 August 2020.

Space is considerably limited as we are operating in accordance with government regulations around maximum numbers and social distancing.

Read on for more information and also for updates on Broadbeach and Coomera locations.

We have adapted our waiting room to comply with social distancing requirements.

Please understand that seating space is limited.

We ask that people minimise time in the waiting room by arriving just prior to their appointment time.

If it is possible and waiting in the waiting room is not necessary, we would like to kindly ask that if you are dropping someone off please wait outside or come back at a later time to collect them at the end of the appointment. This will ensure we can maintain social distancing and patients who have appointments can enter the practice.

We are observing physical distancing requirements of a minimum of 1.5 metres between ourselves and others and ask that you also follow this when you attend rooms. We have established markers to support you to maintain social distancing when approaching the reception desk.

Our reception services are now able to assist you in person with appointment bookings, enquiries and payments.

Please sanitise your hands upon arrival. Hand sanitiser is available in the entrance area and at the reception desk.

We also continue to make hand sanitising facilities available in all areas of our rooms.

We have continued to maintain an increase of cleaning in all consulting rooms and shared spaces.

If when you are passing through the waiting area you experience a sneeze or cough unexpectedly and you are unable to contain it via a tissue or into your elbow please do not be offended when we subtly clean the area – it’s just to ensure we are all safe.

Closed lid bins are available in all areas for safe disposal of tissues.
We have removed the water dispenser, magazines, books and toys from the waiting room, so please consider what you will need to bring for your comfort.

We have and continue to follow our COVID Safe Plan.

It remains very important, for all locations, that you advise us:

If you have been (or presently are) experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms like:

Sore Throat
Runny nose
Other respiratory symptoms

If you have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
If you have been overseas within the last 14 days
If you have been in contact with someone who has been overseas in the last 14 days

WE ASK YOU TO PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND ROOMS IN PERSON, instead please give us a call asap on 07 55620466 and we can make the necessary alternative arrangements for your appointment.

Haan Health Medical Centre has made some recent changes to the attendance requirements. From August 10th 2020, Haan Health has made it compulsory for all attending health practitioners, patients and clients to wear a face mask while attending the practice. The face masks will be provided to you on the day however you may use your own face mask.

Should you decide that you do not want to wear a face mask for your psychology sessions, you can opt to utilise Telehealth for your appointment delivery (i.e., phone or video conferencing) until at least 30 September 2020. Please keep this in mind when replying to your SMS reminder.

As you are aware, it was unfortunately necessary to temporarily close our satellite service, Coomera Rooms, to ensure the ongoing wellness and safety of clients. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that this will be the case for the foreseeable future, beyond 30 September 2020, and likely to remain closed for sometime to come. Whilst this is sad news, we are so pleased that our compassionate and professional Coomera Practitioners, Julia Say and Tania Krecek, will continue to offer their usual high quality care from the comfort of our Robina Rooms by the lake.  In Person appointments are available to Coomera clients at Robina and and Telehealth appointments will be available also. At present the Medicare rebate for Telehealth appointments will remain until 30 September 2020, it is our hope that the Australian Government will extend this further.

If you have any concerns please feel free to discuss them with your Practitioner at your next appointment.
